Nashville Predators have signed 47th overall draft pick, Samuel Girard to a three year entry level contract.

Girard, 18, known for his offensive skills above all else, is also not afraid to play the body. He has spent the last two season in the QMJHL playing for the Shawinigan Cataractes where he has registered 15 goals and 117 points in 131 games. Likely needing another season or two in the Q for seasoning, Girard looks to be an exciting prospect to hit the NHL sooner rather than later.
